Why I Coach
I coach because I love helping players unlock their potential and confidence through the game. Basketball has given me purpose, structure, and lifelong friendships — and I want to pass that same experience to the next generation of athletes who dream big and work hard.
My Journey
A standout from Handsworth Secondary School in North Vancouver, I currently play for Simon Fraser University. Known for my elite shooting and basketball IQ, I’ve been recognized as a BC Champions League U18 All-Star and a BC Junior Boys Provincial All-Star (2020). Basketball runs deep in my family — my mother, Karen (Brydon), was team MVP at the University of Alberta, and my father, Axel, played for the UBC Thunderbirds while completing his MBA.
Philosophy
I believe success starts with the right habits — discipline, curiosity, and trust in the process. My coaching focuses on teaching players how to think the game, shoot with confidence, and compete with purpose. Every session is built to help athletes grow, both as players and as people.
