I coach private and small group pickleball lessons. I am also the youth development coordinator for the North Shore Pickleball Club. We have introduced pickleball to over 2350 youth and teachers on the North Shore from 2020-2023.
Coached multiple Handsworth girls basketball teams and coed ultimate frisbee teams as well as youth basketball teams in the Steve Nash League.
Pickleball Playing Highlights:
2nd in both Sr Women’s Pro and Sr Mixed Pro and 1st in 4.5 mixed 50+ at the 2023 Canadian Nationals.
1st in both 5.0 women’s and mixed 50+ and 2nd in Sr Women’s Pro at the Pacific Northwest Classic in Bend, Oregon.
1st place at the PPA Selkirk Red Rock Open, 5.0 women’s 50+.
2nd place in women’s 4.5 at my first Canadian Nationals in 2022
Favorite sports moments:
Trying pickleball 3 years ago and becoming a sponsored athlete (Selkirk) in 2023.
My 7 years working, from start-up for the Toronto Raptors (95-01) is also a huge highlight, and within that, the time we beat Michael Jordan and the Bulls in the first season was unforgettable.
Personal:
Married to Sean and two children, Duncan & Zoe. We all love boating and travelling together.

Anna-Leigh Waters - #1 female pickleball pro….at the age of 16!
