Why I Coach
I coach to give back to the game that shaped who I am. Basketball taught me discipline, humility, and the value of consistent effort — lessons I now pass on to the next generation. My goal is to help players build confidence, resilience, and a love for the process of growth.
My Journey
Born and raised in the Philippines, I was part of my high-school varsity and collegiate Division 1 basketball programs before competing professionally for eight years at the national level. After moving to Canada in 2016, I continued sharing my experience through coaching and mentoring young athletes. Those years on the court taught me that leadership is earned through preparation and teamwork.
Philosophy
I believe basketball is a universal language — one that teaches communication, respect, and accountability. My approach blends skill development, mindset training, and game understanding to help players make better decisions on and off the floor. At Ball Lab, I strive to build athletes who play with purpose, compete with heart, and lead with integrity.
